Target group and entry requirements
Target group
The MSc programme is designed for physiotherapists who want to:
- develop their knowledge and skills in the fields of clinical practice and scientific research
- enhance their career opportunities in research, teaching and leadership
Entry Requirements
Prospective students are required to undergo an admission assessment “fachliche Eignung”, for which a fee will be charged. The following minimum academic achievements are required:
- Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from a Swiss or foreign University of Applied Sciences, with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits; or a recognized equivalent degree in Physiotherapy. Degrees in Physiotherapy from a foreign university will be assessed for qualification on an individual basis.
- Integrated (through BSc degree) or additional certificate of basic scientific knowledge (5 ECTS credits)
- Certificate proving proficiency in German (Goethe Certificate C, Zentrale Mittelstufen Prüfung, or equivalent)* and English (80 Pts. on TOEFL or equivalent)
