International Affairs

Welcome to the international website of The School of Health Professions!

Our School is part of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and was established in 2006. It offers Bachelor degree courses in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing and Midwifery. The first Bachelor Degrees in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Nursing were awarded in 2009. All our Curricula follow the Bologna Standards. Interdisciplinary modules are integrated into the curricula and promote interprofessional learning as well as foreign language competence (English). Please note that although we occasionally welcome English speaking guest lecturers, our courses are currently taught in German only. Students must therefore be proficient in the German language before applying for a course.

At the School of Health Professions we are committed to the establishment of international networks in teaching as well as in research. We support our staff and students in intercultural learning. Our researchers and teachers regularly present their findings at international conferences.
